Mini Mac
When arriving at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport, I stumbled across the first down-sized Romano’s Macaroni Grill. It was opened in October 2007, more than a year before Brinker International Inc. of Dallas sold a majority interest in the chain (which was finalized last December). Housed in O’Hare’s Terminal 3, the mini-Mac offers many of the chain’s lunch and dinner items but also has a breakfast daypart. The morning menu features baked omelets and such specialties as cinnamon-orange French toast. When it opened, Vince Modica, senior vice president for HMS Host’s Concept Portfolio: “We are pleased to add Macaroni Grill to our strong lineup of restaurant offerings at Chicago O’Hare International Airport.”
