Hearin' about the moves...

It seems that there are some good signs out there for job seekers. Two industry friends have decided to move onward and upward to new exciting ventures. Jennifer Dodd, one of the highest-ranking women at Dunkin Brands, has left to take over the top spot at MyMenu. This frozen foods specialty retail chain is from the franchisor of Canada’s 460-unit M&M Meat Shops, and is making a push into the U.S. with eight locations, to date, in Indiana and Wisconsin. Jennifer will work out of the Chicago area.

Also, Hans Aeschbacker, a veteran Swiss born chef, is leaving the executive chef’s post at Chicago's Smith and Wollensky to move to nearby Trader Vics. Aeschbacker's last day at Smith and Wollensky is tomorrow and he starts at Trader Vics in early June. He received a $50,000 signing bonus and is excited about the new job. He has a huge following among hundreds of Chicago athletes from the Blackhawks to the Bears to the Cubs.
